  1. They are cheaper, but by last minute that means a month or more in advance. There is no such thing as booking a cruise the week before it sails due to homeland security rules. Go to vacations to go for great prices on last minute cruises. The main thing to know is you can't be picky about what kind of cabin you get as all the best are usually sold out. Sometimes you  get lucky and someone cancels, but people also put themselves on waiting lists for these cabins too.

  3. OF COURSE they are! I've gone on one two years ago that was thousands of dollars and I managed to only pay 300 dollars for a nice room and i could pay for my whole family to go, you should wait a little bit to buy a ticket, making sure not to wait to much, and buy a ticket last minute. They are usually almost alwayssss cheappp!~

  4. A couple of years ago there were good deals and airfare was still reasonable "last minute" but now with capacity down on the airlines, and travel continuing to increase, the ships are full and there is little to no cabin space left by 60 days prior.

In my opinion you should book in advance, and often you can adjust your rate down if they advertise something lower after you deposit.  You then also have the ability to watch airfare and book it when it looks like it will be the lowest.

  5. the cruise will be cheaper but if you need air too then you are in trouble.
