I have been to Idaho and can report that it has some of the most beautiful natural scenery that one might find in the lower 48 states. On the other hand, southern Idaho is culturally backwards and socially isolationist. They don't like the outsiders. Btw, to the answerer who said Idaho smelled like pig dung...actually, it's cow manure. Idaho, after all, is the second biggest producer of beef in the nation. And, that odor is exclusively found in southcentral Idaho, around Wendell, Jerome, Twin Falls, and Burley.

Despite the natural beauty, particularly in the Central Mountains, I wouldn't recommend Idaho as a place to live, much less to visit.

no,i never been there,but they sure do grow so mighty fine potatoes,they are delicious.

sure have...and it smells of pig dung...the whole d**n state.

my husband and his uncle went there for like a month they say it is very nice but really cold.
