Has anyone gone to one one of these colleges/universities?

anything you can tell me about them-did you enjoy them, what did you major in, what do you do for a living, anything at all would be helpful.

USC (california), Tufts, Boston University, Northeastern, Ithaca, UDel, University of Toronto, University of Maryland, and any college near or in chicago.

Any help is much appreciated

  1. i attend northwestern (both undergrad and postgrad) in chicago, which is a top 15 school and absolutely LOVE it. loyola and university of chicago are also excellent schools in chicago, and are considered the 'ivy leagues' of the midwest; keep in mind though, all three of these schools, as well as many on your list, look for academic stars and all-around strong candidates. you will need a stellar gpa, sats or acts and academic accolades to get in. i was rejected my first time applying to northwestern with a 3.8, and was accepted the next year after boosting it to a 4.0, so its very competitive. make sure your extracurriculars are intellectually challenging and/or important in helping the community- those are things admissions committees look for right off the bat.
