My hip joints have been really bothering me a lot lately, especially if I sit down for a long time then try to get up and walk. I look like a little old lady hobbling around when I get out of my car after my commute or have to leave my office and walk around the school building somewhere. My doctor suggested the I go to a physical therapist that specializes in working with pregnant women. She said that it did wonders for her while she was pregnant. Have any of you had experience with this, and did it really help?

  1. I was seeing a chiropractor for a while - had bad sciatica. Later, I saw an orthopedist who did accupressure, which was very helpful.

Definitely go check out the physiotherapist - and get your husband massaging you!

  2. I've had 4 knee surgeries so I've been to therapy plenty. I'm 23 weeks now and starting back this week for my back and hips. It's definetly helpful. Just do what they tell you to do at home as well. Good luck
