  1. Well, I know it was a long time ago, but my grandmother did it with four children. She had three children 10 and up, and one infant, and she completed nursing school and got her RN. It took a lot of strength and willpower, but she did it. I think you'll do great as long as you manage your time well for you and your family. Good luck!

  2. For great advice on nursing go to:

    www.academicnurses.com

it is free to join and your questions and queires about the course or child care is always welcome, as it's a website made by student nurses. Hope it helps. Oh and u will get help eith child care costs. If you want more advice I can speak to you on the forum or ask others there :)

  3. My mom went back to school (she's a RN) after my youngest brother was born; she had 3 children.  So, yes, it is possible.  Not easy but possible.  If you have family near by, that would be very helpful.  Good luck.

  4. i tried but i felt guilty. i ended up going back to school when my son turned 9. i graduated when he was 12. working, being a mom, and going to school is tough.

  5. I went to school with one child....it was not hard at all b/c of the way my schedule was set.  I only had to take 12 credits my last semester (when Emma was born) and I had a large break in between classes where I could do homework.  I was in the education field though, I have heard nursing is VERY difficult and requires a LOT of studying.  You may consider online schooling where you just take one class at a time at your own pace.
