Has anyone got a PS3 and a DAV-DZ230?

if so do you know how i might link them together to get sound from my PS3 through the speakers, i have a Sony KDL-40T3500 and also have HDMI cables if that helps some how, people b4 have said try the sound setting on my PS3 but that hasn't worked. the first correct answer gets the points. all answers are appreciated.

If your tv has hdmi then hook a hdmi to your reciever out and ps3 in the in with the corrosponding input.
