Question:

Has anyone got a baby-sized violin that I could teach my 3-and-a-half daughter on?

I have played the violin since I was 7, and my daughter is showing a great interest - the only problem is that I can't afford to get her a violin, and she tries to play on mine - but obviously to no avail! Can anyone help me - I can pay a little, but I am on Incapacity Benefit. I hate asking, but she is so talented, - what can I do?

  1. I buy them from ztl00  (ZTL are the letters and then there are two zero's) on eBay.  They are about $50 with shipping.  Can't beat the price, they are nice violins, and you can sell them for at least what you paid when you have to move up to the next size.

  2. there are many music stores that have small sized violins. you can look through the web or find it in the yellow pgs of many music stores in your area

  3. save and soon you will have enough

  4. search on google or somewhere for roger sterns i play the viola and they give out any size but the violin might be too advanced for a 3 year old
