My mum asked me to help out at her pre-school and I don't know what to do with them! They are age 2-4. Any ideas?

  2. Duck Duck Goose,

I Spy ( where each person takes a turn and points something out to the group by describing it and the first one who gets it right gets the next turn.)

    head shoulders knees and toes.

    Hokie pokie

lots of board games to choose from.

  3. ring a round the rosie

    duck duck goose

    dancing

    coloring

Just keep the children occupied with songs, colors, numbers etc, I used to teach 20 2-4 yr olds and as long as they were occupied they were fine.

  4. chutes and ladders

    barral of monkeys

    candy land

    elefun

    leap frog

  5. she wouldn't have asked you if you weren' capable -just assist her if she's going to be there I'm assuming - and play during free choice time -have out play doh or painting.  If it is a preschool, then your mum must have lesson plans done for the day?  Go by that and have fun!  Preschool is my favorite age -they come up with the cutest things!

  6. Here's a link for all sorts of games.

  7. a game that you can make pretty fast is a game called draw&guess. Youll need to make a record of scores on a pretty looking paper. it is 3-6 players and you keep track. the turn goes around and the person will have to draw a picture and the others get to guess. the person who guesses it right gets one point and two if they get it in less than 10 seconds.

  8. There's this really cool game where you try to make a story. What you do is get in a circle. And you say a word, the next person finds a word to join it. Actually, I'll give an example.

    Jill: The

    John: Cat

    Bartholomew: Fell

    Jasmine: Down.

    Simple, and interesting!!

There's another game where the next person has to find a word that connects to the word you or the person before chooses.

    E.g

    Jill: House

    John: Roof

    Bartholomew: Tiles

    Jasmine: Romans

    :)
