  1. one thing to remember...in Vegas, hotels are much cheaper during mid-week.  Weekends are triple or more in cost for a room.

  2. hi there - congratulations! Try the site below which lists every wedding chapel in Las Vegas and every wedding package by cost. It is a good starting point to planning a Las Vegas wedding.

    Good luck!

  3. Never get married in Vegas. For some reason your marriage would be doomed... The Hotel itself is gorgeous, but Vegas isn't a romantic spot to get married.

  4. Hey, I'm getting married next September too!  Congrats!

I visit Vegas frequently, and the Venetian is a lovely hotel.  But I have to be honest, I have seen several weddings take place there and for all the elegance of the surroundings, it always strikes me as a little cheesy and sad.  I mean, getting rowed around a fake moat by a gondolier?  It makes the whole wedding experience seem a little hollow.  Don't get me wrong- I've always been a huge fan of Vegas weddings, but if you're going to do the Vegas thing, better to make it purposely cheesy (Elvis impersonator officiant, etc.) than to try to make it seem sophisticated in a place like the Venetian.  That's just my opinion, anyway.

  5. lol, the venetian is beautiful. I'm personal with the owners, And I'm going to atend their school they've built. It's pretty expensive. But it will be an unforgettable experience, worth it.

  6. I know the owners...lol k.  The Venetian is nice, and expensive as most newer LV hotels are.  For weddings I would reccomend Mandalay Bay.  MB is very expensive but is very well layed out for weddings.

  7. i have been there i dont think its that expensive. i sent my mom there for her birthday about a year ago maybe two now. she still talks about it. i think the rooms were priced ok and the spa is excellent. i dont know i arranged everything from overseas for my mother and the staff was really nice. i agree that vegas is not really a romantic spot for weddings its more for parting and such. but none of the other hotels would work with me doing everything from overseas.
