Has anyone got pregnant in the 1st month of ttc after stopping the pill?

Question

Did anyone get pregnant in the 1st month after stopping the pill? I have a 4 month old baby and my husband & I are ready to try for a 2nd baby (we want them to be close in age). I was taking the pill for 12 weeks and I stopped 1 week ago. I got my period on Monday. What are my chances of getting pregnant this month? I'm not sure how long the pill stays in your system?

My friend got pregnant 2 weeks after her last pill. She was shocked also, doctors always told her she wouldn't be able to have children. She just had her baby 2 weeks ago.

I got pregnant a week after i got off the pill and now i have a 5 year old daughter and me and my husband have been trying to concieve #2 for 10mos after losing a pregnancy last year. It just depends on your body and when you ovulate and when you are timing intercourse around ovulation. The pill could throw off your ovulation and the fact that you stopped might make your body go kinda crazy and ovulate very soon so it could definitely happen this month! Good luck and congrats!!!!!!

When my husband and I decided to go ahead and have our second child I had been on the pill for a couple of months. I got off it and got the ovulation test so I would know when I would ovulate. We only had a month till he went on a 6 month deployment so i didnt have the time to waste. Anyway we got pregnant the same month I stopped taking it. Everyone is different though I tend to be fertile myrtle. But using the ovulation strips helped me alot. My daughter is due tom.
