Has anyone gotten a GOOD deal/roundtrip flight from lima, peru to newark new jersey?

Hello, trying to help a friend who wants to fly his daughter from Lima, Peru to Newark,New Jersey ROUND TRIP.

was wondering if anyone has ever gotten a flight at a pretty good price round trip. So far I've come across the cheapest a little over $1500. But need a much bettter deal than this (if possible)

try lan chile.  we went with them 3 years ago and they offer reduced prices if you are flexible with the days of flying / returning.  you might want to also try nearby cities (boston, washington, etc.), as they may offer cheaper flights.  a bus ride may save you lots of $.
