I am not sure if they have a chapel that could maybe fit about 10-15 people? I know there are a few courthouses in san diego.....so I was just wondering if anyone has had a court house chapel wedding that they could tell me about....thanks in advance!

  1. Courthouse weddings are often done in the judge's chambers.  Call the courthouse and ask. They can tell you what the policy is.  They may be able to move into a small courtroom.

You may need to find a location and hire a minister or hire the JP to perform your ceremony at a park or somewhere nearby.

    Best of luck and congratulations.

  2. It's easy... call them and find out.

  3. You're right. There are a few courthouses in SD. But it looks like they'll do civil services in a few of the offices. These are not to be confused with a "chapel". It's a room. You say your vows. There's usually seating for well over 15. But look into the outdoor ceremonies at the downtown location. Much prettier. I mean... it IS San Diego.
