hey guys....well iwas just wondering if any of you have gotten married on a cruise...what was it like?...how many people came?? n for your guests, what did you do...like did you pay for their tickets or did they buy the tickets for themselves?

I have only seen it on TV and my gosh how romantic is that??  Plan it aheas so your invited guests can save up for themselves for your cruise wedding.  Congratulations

for details on weddings @ sea.  You don't actually get married while the ship is sailing.  You must be docked at one of the ports.  You can also get married in some of the ports with some advance planning.  Also check out your cruise provider's website for deals on wedding parties and special treats.

Depending on what your budget would be for a traditional wedding/reception/honeymoon, you may be able to fund a few close friends to attend with you.  However, with port fees, taxes and tips, the cost per person for a 4-person cabin on a 7-day Carnival can run nearly $900 per person.  

A friend of mine got married during a cruise a few years ago.  The guests paid for their own passage.

To save money, you could consider a 3, 4, or 5 day cruise.

They are nice. You only have to pay for whoever you want.  I have done many wedding groups on ships.  Some have paid for their guests and others make them pay.  Here are the two companies that help coordinate weddings onboard.
