  1. Yes. I have. For awhile i did not want to. It was fear...but it feels great sticking it out. Even if the relationship does not work out...you will overcome your fear after you have at least tried once. So...dont run away anymore. It will work itself out. "Fear of Commitment" is only for people who do not want to be responsible and those who do not want to grow up. It's an excuse...but once you realize that you want to fight the fear..then you will understand what i mean. Of course, if you are with the right person then it would not be a problem at all. I have been picking the wrong men, which lead me to this "fear of commitment". Take care.

  2. That's what I don't understand.

I wish I had a fear of commitment (I know that sounds weird)

but I happen to be the exact opposite which often scares people away.

I want a family, I want to have kids, I want to be a housewife and live in suburbia.

which kinda sucks cause I am only 18....

  3. Growing up helps. Maturing takes time and experience. This person won't grow up if they don't choose to. You can't make them do it.

  4. No thanks.  I have managed to let go of the fear of letting go of commitments.  Does that count?  I mean, I am the happier for it.
