Me and my husband are planning a renewal ceremony and well we've never had a wedding or an official honeymoon. I would like to have the bridesmaids, flower girls, ring bearers, groomsmen and the works, but i'm not a person for a lot of drama or headaches dealing with stress and seeing plenty of friends and relatives stressing over every detail and the people they have in their wedding doing this and that, I am thinking of doing a "family affair' wedding, where its me and him and our children and then recognizing our family as the ceremony continues that are sugnificant to us. Like they are called be around us in a circle as we began to recite our vows. But has this ever been done before? I am just wanting this to be a time where me and my husband share in the moment that we've been married for 10 years and that through all the things that we've been through, through God's grace and mercy we've made it this far. BUT i also want our friends and family to enjoy and witness just how much we mean to each other and just enjoy everything without breaking the bank. I just want to know has anyone had this type of themed wedding and just how can I go about making it actually happen where no one is really left out.

  2. I'm sure you would include everyone so no one feels left out. But I worry that when you write you are not a person for drama that you will be getting into drama when you do this. Any large event like you speak of will incur drama. Keep it simple, keep it small, don't discuss the details with people other than your husband. The more people you tell, the more advice you will receive and if you don't follow the advice each person gives, they will be hurt.   Best wishes
