  1. Its sad, but they are put out there.  I bought a brand new one, damaged it, and when I did my insurance claim, they sent a refurbished one, and ended up sending 2 more, back and forth.  Each time, they ask for my damaged phone back.  I guess they repair them and give them to someone else for a night mare.

With a blackberry, PLEASE buy fresh out of the box, refurbished is a nightmare.

(Dont damage your phone either so you wont have to go through it).

  2. I felt the same way you did so i just got one to see what would happen. I got to blackberry refurb phones one red and one titanium, they look brandnew you cant tell the difference between a new one and a refurbished one. You should definately get one you save alot of money for the same thing I've had mine for a month and havent experianced any problems. Plus you get a 90 day warranty if anything goes wrong. Refurb doesnt mean its used it means that maybe the buyer didnt like it and returned it just because he didnt like it. Go for it, its a good phone i would recommend the red one, looks better hope this helped you.

  3. there is nothing wrong with refurbished items. they have the same warranty as a brand new item. you always have a 1 yr manufacturer warranty. call 18003310500 if you have att and have to warranty this device. good luck
