I bought a floor sample television a year ago from Best Buy. When I bought it, the floor person said it would be a good idea to buy a warranty on the tv, so I did. 3 weeks ago the picture tube went out. Since I had the warranty, I did not worry about it until I tried to use the Best Buy warranty. They had me bring the television to the store. They sent the tv to service for two weeks only to tell me that they could not fix it. According to the warranty, they were supposed to replace the tv with something similar, but they told me that the tv was not worth but 50.00 dollars and that they did not sell tv,s for that amount and I could only get a store credit for 50.00 which has to be used in 90 days on another tv or I forfeit it. How in the h**l does Best Buy get away with this scam. Anybody else experience this?
