Has anyone had a claim with Traveler's auto insurance?

  1. I have Travelers. I actually just settled a claim with them last week. My car was hit while it was parked over the weekend. I filed my claim online last monday. Within 2 hours I had 3 people calling me to take my statement, set up the estimate and explain the procedures. I had the estimator come to my job and I had a check in hand by friday (5 days after reporting the accident)

    It was honestly the best insurance experience I've ever had, AND I work in the insurance industry.

    So far, my premiums have not increased.

I never filed a claim with Travelers, but as an insurance agent I can verify that ANY auto insurance claim can cause an increase in your auto insurance.  Companies get approval for their rates and the rules they use to determine rates from the states they do business in.  If you feel your rate was unfairly raised, file a complaint with your state insurance department who will investigate it and determine whether or not Travelers is playing by the rules.
