Has anyone had a nose job?

Is it really painful? Did you have an open or closed rhinoplasty? How long did it take to recover? Were you happy with the results? All answers appreciated!

its very painful will recovering and it took a long time for it to look normal. i wasnt happy at first but after i got used to it i loved it =]

closed rhinoplasty

this is my 2 week anniversary, exactly

for about 5 days after i was immobilized and i stayed in a room with curtains, very dark, and very close to a bathroom

the packing came out of my nose the day after the surgery

im not gonna lie, this is the most pain you will feel during the whole process

a week later, my nose cast was taken off, stitches out, and inner splints out.

two weeks later, my nose is as beautiful as ever, healthy, and still healing

i cant hit it, do extreme physical activity, but i can travel and i have to limit my sun exposure.

my nose is peeling from the sun i did get, and i have to do painful but necessary pressing exercises with my hands on the nose bone

a very innovative procedure, and if done correctly, you will wonder why you ever waited

you'll be happy with the results.

i know i am.

no offense or anything to anyone who has had one but i think its kinda dumb to have a nose job. who cares what someone's nose looks like?
