Has anyone had a problem with Shell gas stations reserving an extra $100 on their debit card?

I bought $10 of gas at the pump with my debit card and I have a $90 charge pending plus the $10 charge on my debit card. I know why this happens, but my $90 (cash not credit) is now been held up for 2 days. First, even though gas is so high, my car does not hold $100 of gas and lastly I have already been charged the $10. I don't get it and I can't fiind anyone to complain to.

I had them do that to me once and since then I refuse to go to Shell.  I pumped 30 in my car and they put a hold on it for a 100 dollars and then held it for two days, thankfully I didn't have any checks out that could've cleared in that time.  It ticks me off because I don't think they have any right to do it but the bank told me otherwise.
