Never heard of it, but I am going to make it tmrw. Thanks very much. I have the steak and I'll get some really good bangers and some mushrooms. I can't wait!

Quite often used as a bulker here in scotland to make the meat go further.

Don't use it myself (if you're gonna do it may as well do it right) but have had plenty with sausages in it and they were fine. In fact my wife's gran used to always make them like that and no-one EVER complained about her steak pies LOL

But of course we were talking good scottish beef links here.. don't know what it would be like with pork sausages... yuk
