  1. I looked at both the product and the business and wasn't impressed with either.  The product literally sat on my skin without absorbing in, it made my skin look greasy and I felt itchy within an hour of having had a facial done.  Keep in mind, that was my experience and not the experience of everyone.

I'm also not a great fan of direct selling as I've done that in the past and all the cold calls, demo parties, driving around at my expense plus the rejection was just too much.

If you're in to doing all of the things I've mentioned, by all means, go for it but for me I've since found a more practical home business opportunity that's in my profile if you're interested.

Whatever you choose to do, I hope you do well in it!

  2. I haven't personally but have known people who have had arbonne, mary kay, partylight, pampered chef etc...

Arbonne like all of these types of companies can be great for someone who is flexible and confidant, not afraid to put herself out there. You need to keep in mind your circle of influence (who you know). Do you know a large variety of women, who each have large social groups? you're going to be selling mostly to friends and family at first. If you have a close group of friends and family who don't socialize much outside your group, you'll have to work a lot harder at advertising yourself because you're going to exhaust the checkbooks of the people you know quickly! You need to know a lot of people who each know a lot of people so that you're not depending on the same group of women to buy your product all the time. At first they'll buy a lot to try everything out, they'll settle on a few products that they like and thats all they'll buy. They'll get tired of you constantly pressuring them to have parties because their friends will get tired of them pressuring them to come to the parties and spend money!

To succeed you'll have to put yourself out there, start a website, sell on ebay, leave your card EVERYWHERE. pass out samples to everyone you know (the tellers at your bank, the staff at your gym, the ladies at your hair salon, the baristas at your local coffee shop) make sure everyone does not feel pressured. Go against the guidebook of how to sell and have no pressure parties. make sure its not 100% about arbonne and do other activities. If its a sales pitch from beginning to end they'll feel pressured and may not buy anything. Let people try what they want, if they buy that day, great, if not send them home with a catalog and follow up a few days later to see if they decided on anything. If they say no, then drop it and don't bug them. Don't hound people to buy, because you may wear them down enough to buy once, but they'll be resentful and will start avoiding you!

You can be successful at this if you work for it, just be very careful on the pressure you put on your friends, family and any customer you get. Arbonne is a great product (I use a few products myself) and it will sell itself, you just have to get your foot in the door!

  3. Hi!  I'm an Arbonne Independent Consultant myself.  I have started my business and I love doing it.  I've only been involved since last November, so I'm a newby.  I've only done one-on-one presentations so far due to a health issue, but I'll tell you the company is really great.  They support their Consultants all kinds of ways.  They have their own on-line University to help educate you to have a better business and the classes are FREE!  They have rewards like jewelry, trips, and not to mention the White Mercedez-Benz that you can get when you reach a certain level!!  And the products are absolutely fantastic.  They really do what they say they will do.  Do you currently have an Arbonne Consultant?  If not, then by all means email me so we can chat.  I'd love to talk to you more about the business.

Take care and have a great day!

  4. as a consumer- great products. I have seen awesome results personally. The products do cost a pretty penny but you do get what you pay for. And when it comes to skin care- take care of your skin.

I know 4 women that have launched an arbonne business, but were never very successful. They joined to get the discount.

Are you looking for a home based opp?
