Has anyone had an exploding lightbulb made in China? It happened to me in my ceiling fan w/o having been on.?

It is very rare for a lightbulb to explode but known to happen.  Years ago cameras used flashbulbs that screwed into the flash attachment.  They occasionally exploded when they flashed to add to the excitement of the day.  It would normally occur when you turn the light on.  Probably not a fixture problem, just replace the bulb.
