Has anyone had any experience with an XMS SD Set Top Box with 250gb Hard Drive?

Just spotted the above device in a catalogue from a local electronics retailer here in Perth, West Australia.

Has anybody purchased one of these recently? Are they any good? I haven't been impressed with my previous purchases of these 'lesser known' brands.

Would appreciate some guidance please.
