I know that it is a vine type of dutchman's pipe, native to brazil, highly toxic if ingested, and is considered invasive in some areas of the country. what I want to know is does it have a fragrnce? and is it an annual or not in my zone?

  1. there is a difference between calico flower and calico plant. you are speaking of the calico flower. It does have a fragrance, and is a tropical evergreen. protect it from freezing. see

  2. it is an annual in your zone and zones under zone 9b. it may have a small fagrance, but not much. the flowers are also small and the leaves seem to be the nicest
