  1. I have tried the peticure my three dogs(shepherd mix, lab mix and JRT mix). They are terrified of it because it makes so much noise. We had to go back to using the traditional clippers. Unless you have a puppy I wouldn't buy one of these, it will take to long to get your dog used to the noise and will just be a waste of money.

  2. Our groomer has a similar tool (like a dremel). Not sure if it's the same brand though. It works soooo well - gets the nails short & rounds them so they aren't sharp. I would love to hear from others if they have tried this at home. I couldn't imagine my dogs sitting for this - but they do ok at the vet.

  3. It works, but need to be very very cautious not to hit the nerve endings. Better to use nail clippers.

  4. I bought the peticure for my dogs nails.  I love this it makes trimming my dogs nails so much easier and the stress level is 0. It took two times for them to see it wouldn't hurt them and now they let me do their nails no problems at all.

  5. Dremel tool does the same thing for less money.

  6. i'm holding off untill it is in stores..but i think it will work gr8. i have hurt my dog at least 2 times so now i go to the vet and it cost lots to get it done and he fights all the time..

  7. I am so glad you asked this question because we really want to get one of these for our dogs.  They have such sharp nails, even though I clip them regularly.  I will be watching your question closely to see if there are any happy customers out there.

  8. i wouldnt advise buying from that company- i ordered it and had nothing but problems.
