Question:

Has anyone had any problem with eating too much raw vegies?

When ever I eat too many salads or raw vegetables, I get a pain in my upper right side. It isn't my gallbladder, I've had it taken out. I had some tests done and they don't see any problem, but I feel a bit of pain. It is located under my right rib cage, and it only happens if I eat too much roughage. It is as if it is rubbing a raw place inside my intestines or something. Is that possible? Has anyone else had this problem or know what it is?

  1. yes, it's called fiber and you're producing gas.

this pain will happen every so often and the more you eat this and make it a routine the lesser this will happen.

sooner or later, if it's not happened yet.. you'll will get a roughage explosion or experience as some call it... when your digestive tract has been voided of chemicals from processed foods and meats...  this takes time and it varies from person to person.

it's a bit rough when it happens but it's your intestines cleaning out.     you'll know it when it happens.

don't give up before then.. you'll just be setting yourself back.

i know of this because i'm a vegetarian who eats raw plenty often!

when it hit me...   i thought i was going to die... (not literally, just was something else i'll tell ya what!)   when it was over.. i felt like a new born baby.

i  slept real well that night and have since.

i ain't ever going to eat junk again.. i like what i'm doing now.

    hey?   good luck!

  2. I suffered for months with stomach pain, had several medical tests only to find out that it was my diet of raw fruits and veggies.  Some people have a hard time digesting raw foods which can cause irritation, spasms, pain, and for me constipation.  Cut back on raw foods for a while and incorporate more grains and you should be feeling better.

  3. My  problem  is  different  from  yours.  I  eat  a  lot  of  raw  fruits,  and  some  raw  veggies,  and  get  diahrea  from  it.

  4. No the connection isn't there like you're saying. BUT some roughage, depending on what you eat, can cause allergies in some people which include difficulty breathing. Especially if you hve asthma

  5. Nope i eat veggies all the time...and never any pain

    ask your doctor
