Has anyone had any problems i.e. permanent engage tone whilst using cordless bt phones on bt talk .?

You should not be getting the engage tone - are you trying just one number or is this happening on all calls? - The only two things I can think of that may cause this are

1. the number you are calling is busy and

2. if you have more than one handset one of the others may be off the hook, this would give the engage tone to the other handsets on a DECT system.

If it not one of these to I would call BT on 0800 800 151, and ask for the line to be tested.
