Has anyone had both knee replacements at the same time?

Both my knees are gone and they both need replacements. I was told get them both done at the same time if not the pain is so bad you wont go back for the other. WOOOW !! It must hurt pretty bad. Anyway I just want to hear some feedback on both knees at the same time. Some doctor will not do both because of blood clotting etc., etc.,

Pain is different for everyone, some tolerate it quite well, to some it is totally overwhelming. I have had a few patients in the past who did have bilateral knee replacements, so it is not unheard of. I would think the most challenging aspect would be the physical therapy, but if given the option, I think I would have it done in one swoop move.
