Has anyone had bubs diagnosed with a severe illness?

My babe is still sick. I am worried there is an underlying reason. Any advise would be appreiated. I see her doc again on fri but he is so mean and really hard to talk to. Please help?

Can you take her to a different doctor?  

Don't be afraid to stand up for your little one.  You're her voice, and it is the doctor's job to help find answers.  Go with you mother's instinct.

What's wrong with her?

If you are very concerned and you think your doctor is not taking you seriously skip over the appointment with them and go straight to the ER. That way if they think there is reason for concern the testing can be done.

Pick a new pediatrician for sure! Tell us more about what is going on with your baby and we'll let you know if it sounds like something serious. If it seems life-threatening now, please go to the ER or call 911!

Edit: Definitely pick a new ped and make sure that they see you every week or so to follow-up. That sure was serious and if you have concerns they should get you right in that day. Have you seen a resp. doc?
