My husband and I have been trying to have a child now for about four years. The first time that we conceived we were about 5 weeks along and I had an empty sac forming so I was given a DH&C. The next time that we tried was cut short again but this time nature corrected it on its own. This past month we were given the news that my hcg level started out at a 10 then a 25 then four days later 215. This morning I was tested again to find out that my level went to 132. I am hoping one day that we will become parents but it just isn't working out. Has anyone out there had their hcg level go up and then drop but then go back up? I am trying to be hopeful because I am retesting my hcg again on Aug. 4. Could my numbers go back up or will this be another loss? Please help me out there!

  1. I'm so sorry to hear this. Unfortunitly numbers going down is not a good sign. After my first m/c they tested my blood type. I can't remember which type it is alhtough a certain blood type can cause minor blood clotting that can cause M/C. I'm on second pregnancy, only 5 weeks and am ver scared also. Good luck

  2. i had multiple losses and couldnt figure out why well i ended up having cysts and a tumor on my left ovary and then a few years later had an ovarian torsion well as soon as i got the ovary removed i got pregnant 6 months later and now my son is 5 weeks old it could be a number of things wrong
