  1. You can get leg cramps but its normally a sign of a vitamin deficiency like calcium or potassium.

  2. YES! i dont know if it was normal but i get it too. i asked my dr about it and she told me that carpal tunnel (which i have) tends to get a lot worse during pregnancy. And if i curl up my fingers for even a few minutes its like, painful to open them up. =( i just do a lot of finger wiggling. wish there was something that could be done about it.

  3. at night and in mornings my wrist and fingers hurt so bad i can barley bend or move them. its called pregnancy carpal tunnel wont go away till your about due. im due today and noticed it had gone down alot the last 2 weeks. it sucks i used alot of lotion in the middle of night when my hands got swollen and hot

  4. I've been getting them lately and thought it was weird, too! They're mostly along both my pinky fingers. I have gotten them in my legs but now know how to avoid them, for the most part. A word of advice: don't rub your feet/legs when you get cramps! It can bruise the muscle, which is sensitive during a cramp/spasm. Instead, tilt your toes upward, as if to your nose, while keeping your leg flat. It hurts at first, but I've never gotten rid of a cramp so quickly. It's a big help.

Sometimes these things are from a deficiency, but it can also be from all the extra strain on your legs. Yeah, but getting cramps in the hands...definitely a new and strange experience for me, too.

  5. Yes, it's probably a form of carpal tunnel that a lot of women get.

  6. nope just in my azz and legs :)lol

  7. oh yes completly normal, ive had them in arms, hands and legs since 15 weeks and now 34 weeks, i even get pins and needles when pushing my daughters buggy.xx

  8. I have leg cramps alot as well. I was told that it is because my iron levels are low. Maybe that could cause cramping in other body parts as well. Have you had your iron levels checked?

  9. yes i did. and they increase when you sleep, to cover the whole hand, really annoying, i couldn't sleep at night on my sides because it would hurt my hand.

And now, my baby is 9 days old and i still have them but they are going away slowly. I talked to the Dr. about it and she said it's normal and it goes on its own,. So sorry and good luck

  10. Oh my YES! I was like 34 wks pregnant and I got the worst cramps in my hands. I could not even bend them in the mornings when I woke up. It is called pregnancy induced carpal tunnell. And thank goodness it goes away after you have the baby.

  11. Well my dr said it was so I guess so. With my 2nd baby I had horrible problems with my hands, waking up in the middle of the night in pain, hands falling asleep for no reason and numb/tingling fingertips. my dr said it was normal. it hurt like crazy. My fingertips were numb for about 4 months after she was born. My 3rd baby it wasn't as bad but still drove me crazy. And now my left hand is completley numb and tingling, drs still say its normal. While pregnant with my 2nd I tried using carpal tunnel wrist guard things while I slept. didn't help much.

Pregnancy carpal tunnel doesn't always go away on its own. My friends sister had to have surgery to fix it after  her baby was born it was so bad.
