  1. I got my pvt, inst, com/se, cfi, cfii at American Flyers ISP in 1992.  Instructors were good and professional, the basic simulators they had saved a bunch of money on my instrument work, their Skyhawks seemed well maintained,  I wanted to get my licenses as quickly as possible, and I was able to schedule lessons almost every day.  Doing all my training at a relatively busy airport in Class C airspace gave me much needed confidence right from the start.  Overall, I was satisfied with my training there.

  2. I did a few years ago when looking for a flight school to start my training. At that time they where too expensive and a bit intimidating, but we all have different taste. I settled with a "mom and pop" type flight school that worked great for me. It was more affordable too.
