  1. When I had lasik I had halo effects for about a week. When I was driving at night I would see rays of light streaming down from street lights and any signs that were lit up for about 3 months. My surgery was about 3 years ago and I still need to wear sunglasses because my eyes get really light sensitive especially in the snow.

  2. I had lasik 7 weeks ago and so far I haven't had the halo effect. HOWEVER, the reading info provided the day of the surgery says it can happen within the first 3 months after surgery.

  3. It lasted approximately 3 months for me and seemed more pronounced on overcast or hazy days.  I hear it from most patients for the month, but a few report it longer as I did......It's been 10 years for me and I'm still pleased with my result.
