Question:

Has anyone had good results with resistance bands?

I used to lift weights all the time and for a while built too much muscle. I learned to do more repetitions and not too much weight. I also like the idea of using your body weight as resistance too like with the Total Gym. But that's too heavy for me right now so I have resistance bands to use and an exercise ball. Does anyone know if it's a good workout?

  1. I've used resistance bands for therapy on a shoulder injury, but not as regular workouts.


  2. I use resistance bands, the ball and handheld weights. All are excellent ways to work your muscles.  You don't want too much weight, you're absolutely right...you want enough resistance that after about 30 reps, you are fatiguing.
