Has anyone had luck being caller 106 or any number on a radio station?

i'm trying to win a contest and you have to be caller 106 and i have been calling each time the contest is held and i have been using like 7 phones and i can never get through! its really frustrating because i need to win this so badly! has anyone ever had any luck winning a radio contest like this? do you have any secrets/ tips? someone pleasee help!!!

i remember working radio and we would ask a certain number caller and then we turned around and just picked one at random.
