  1. From someone who has received it....Yes. It's great. A bit more gentler then regular massage and very effective. It can help detox the system as the lymph system carries waste from the body. Drink a lot of water afterwards as you need to flush the system.

Some practitioners have told me that it's not recommended when you are feeling run down and beginning to get a cold as it may push it to surface. I also would think twice or seek professional advice if there is a lymph condition existing.

Body brushing before a shower also stimulate the lymph system

Hopefully a massage therapist can answer this question more in depth for you

  2. I'm a qualified massage therapist and have been doing Lymph drainage massage for ages. After this type of massage, you may feel a bit dry in the mouth and a bit "fuzzy" in the head. Important to have a glass of water, juice etc after the massage, and keep up fluids (unless you are retaining fluids and are on a restriction) for remainder of the day to help flush out the system.

It's a nice slow massage, and feels relaxing to have done.

make sure you receive it from a qualified masseur

  3. Yes, I have.
