My wife has them and is doing what she needs to get rid of them. We have been trying to have a baby for over 2 years nows and the only thing we've gotten out of all our trying besides good s*x is a miscarriage. How likely is it that when she gets rid of the cysts that she will get pregnant and keep the baby? and has anyone here had them and if so please tell me what you did about them?

  1. I have ovarian cysts. Just found out about a month ago and have been doing research since then. Many books and websites will say to get on the pill or to have surgery. The pill is suppose to balance hormones in the body, the problem with the pill I have read is that they tend to be made up of synthetic hormones that are not bioidentical to the hormones naturally produced in the body which can cause side effects (one being that you own body quits making the hormones you need) Another interesting thing I found out about one pill was that it was made of horse hormones. As far as surgery goes, it's not neccesarily a one time thing besides who wants to have unneeded surgery. I have found many people who have done both and were successful in their quest. It's really a personal choice. It is important to understand that cysts are not as bad as they sound. When a woman is in her cycle..the releasing of an egg for fertilization is like a race and there are many eggs in the running, the first one to mature wins. Roughly explained, the eggs not winning can become the fluid filled follicles(cysts) and are usually reabsorbed by the body. The women's body is very complex and hormones are a major player in health and ability to have children. A woman's body has all the right equipment to reabsorb the cysts. Sometimes, there may be environmental factors that alter a womens hormone levels...such as diet, pesticides(or pesticides that your Mom was exposed to like DDT),smoking and sometimes its heriditary and sometimes its a combination of some if not all. Sometimes our bodys are exposed to hormonal inteferers that stop our bodies from working right. One of the things that I have read to support this states that chemicals in many processed foods such as MSG are excitotoxins. You should have a balance to what you put in your body. Overstimulating a specific part of your body throws it out of whack and doesn't work 100% effectively. You get things like ovarian cysts because your hormones are out of whack. 1 in 4 women will have cysts during their reproductive years and many will never even be aware. For some people ovarian cysts are problematic. Some can run into other problems whch lead to the discovery of the ovarian cysts.

The ovarian cysts should dissolve if your wife becomes pregnant. One of the hormones that you can get that is suppose to help with pregnancy is progesterone (bioidentical). It is suppose to help with miscarriages during the first phase of pregnancy. The latest site I just found was some book preview talking about Black Kohlash, Agnus Castus, False Unicorn root is suppose to help with ovarian cysts but I have not researched that enough yet to validate my situation. Well, anyway here is some related information. There are many different and conflicting schools of thought out there. There are countless stories of success with different methods and there is a nice scratch of the surface in women's reproductive health information. The most important thing to remember is that it is not the end of the world. Ovarians cysts sound worse than they really are. Ovarian cysts can come and go. They really are more of symptom that you are not listening to your body. With such great teachers, who could blame you!  I recommend your wife do some searches on youtube if you wants to feel the emotions of women going through similar things for emotional support is she so desires. Of course you should always consult your doctor with any ideas and concerns and remember if you do not agree with your doctor remember that there are plenty out there.

  2. i had 10 burst cysts and they hurt really bad i had like 4 surgery where they put the scope down to get rid of them i haven't had one since about a  year ago

  3. I WISH YOU BOTH THE BEST OF LUCK I HAVE THE POLY CYSTIC OVARIAN SYNDROME SO ITS VERY UNLIKELY FOR ME TO GET EITHER OR BUT I'M STILL TRYING GOOD LUCK TO YOU BOTH

  4. What type of cysts are they?

The cysts themselves could cause miscarriage. if the cysts are removed then there is no reason why she won't carry to full term.

Speak to a decent doctor and get proper medical treatment for her conditon.

    good luck
