Has anyone had period (full on) and found out they were pregnant?

I missed my period with both children.

Not to stress everyone out but my friend's sister is due in two weeks and she didn't even find out she was pregnant until she was 26 weeks. She was still taking the pill and was getting periods!!!

I'm 24 weeks now and i can't believe that she didn't know.

Yes, I had (what I thought to be) a normal period, and found out three weeks later that I was almost two months pregnant.

It is possible, but I'm not sure it's very common. Of course, the only way to be sure is to test, if you feel that a home test isn't giving you accurate results, your doctor may be able to do a blood test and give you a definite answer.
