Has anyone had problems selling things on craigslist?

Has anyone had problems selling things on craigslist? First I got an account and in the process it said I had to have the www. on my email or I couldn't further the process of making an account. So I put the www. on. Then when I started writing information for my item to sell my email was on there with the www and it said it couldn't be on there and it wouldn't let me get it off. First it wanted me to have it then it didn't. Does anyone know how to get it off or what to do? Do you even need an account?
