Has anyone had problems with their Adobe Reader not opening up a file? ?

I keep getting a message: Adobe Reader couldn't open your file because it is either not supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attach and wasn't correctly decoded). I am trying to open a file from a CD for my Adobe Flash CS3 class and it won't let me! Please any suggestions!!

if you are facing such issues just uninstall the software and reinstall it. it will be working fine .
