Ok so here is the breakdown, i have had severe headaches everyday that last days for 4 months now. I went to my doctor he did a CT scan and it was normal. He prescribed me medication for migraines, but i know its not a migraine. I also went to the eye doctor and had my eyes checked and everything was fine. These headaches are debilitating. So my question is does anyone else suffer from these awful never ending headaches? And if so what have you done? What do you take? I just need some help before i go crazy!

  1. i get migrains similar to that, sometimes they don't even feel like migrains but try somthing homeopathic, premade or just some crushed lavender

  2. My mom has the same problem , Im not sure if youve had a trauma in your life or been beat in the head maybe ? but thats why she has it.

Try asking your doctor about that. If it applys to you.

  3. Sounds like a migraine or a cluster headache to me.  Did you take the medication and how do you know it is not a migraine?

I take imitrex.  Those debilitating headaches that lasted for days are gone in about an hour after I take an imitrex and lie down in a dark quiet room.

  4. Yes, like Judge Judy I too have sinus headaches that last forever. I am on medication for migraines also. I take topamax but nothing helps when I get a real bad spell. I was in an auto accident when I was a child and had head injuries also was married to a man who beat me with his fist in the face and head. I have never asked the doctor about this maybe I should. I take strong pain medication and it is the only thing that will ease my headaches.

  5. I get HORRIBLE sinus headaches, they are as bad or worse than migraines (I get those too).  Is the headache in your forehead, face and possible top of your head?  That's where it hurts when I get sinus headaches.  Putting a hot towel across your face will give some relief and also putting your head over boiling water to inhale steam.  Tylenol Sinus helps (sometimes).

If it's not that, it may be a tension headache (which I also get).  My doctor gave me muscle relaxers to help with that.  Those headaches are really bad and don't respond to over the counter medicines.

Good luck, hope you feel better.
