Has anyone had similar symptoms?

OK I have asked a similar question but it was more on how to deal with joint pain. Now I am wondering if there is anyone out there that experienced the same or similar symptoms? The doctors seam to be at a loss as to what is happening? I figured that someone out there has to have been through something like this and maybe been able to be diagnosed? Here are my symptoms and yes I know I need to see a better doctor! I am gearing up for the new doctor by having an idea of where to start when I do see one!

1. Joint pain

2. Joint popping ( I think this is important because not anyone I know pops like I do. Every single joint in my body! Plus I don't make them pop, the doctors have never been concerned about his symptom)

3. Fatigue (often simple activities take tones of energy and effort to do)

4. night owl or Circadian Rhythm problem (Meaning can't sleep at night and if I do flip schedule it flips back no matter what I do! Also I think if my pain were controlled maybe this would not be a problem)

5. skin rash ( It is mild and usually looked over by doctors, it still is irritating and I have been tested for all std's that would cause it... which I new that wouldn't be it since iv been with the same partner for so long! Also lime disease at my request but they did one blood sample. I have heard the right way to test is to have multiple blood drawn at same time. I do camp a lot!)

6. irritated by noise especially at night for bed

7. frequent flu like symptoms ( when I go into ER for they always say you have flu but how many times a year is normal for someone to get sick?)

8. Have been sickly all my life (meaning I get colds, bronchitis, pneumonia, flu 10 to 12 times a year. I have been like this all my life vitamins do not improve and I have been tested for things like aids and other auto immune problems)

9. Gassy ( they removed my gallbladder and have had this issue since so i think its a coincidence)

10. thirsty all time ( I have been tested for diabetes, each time comes back normal)

11. weight gain increasing steadily over the last two years and i don't eat a lot!

So that is the main ones I can think of! I know its a lot to go over but I would really appreciate anyone who has had similar symptoms or been diagnosed with something that causes these symptoms! Also have poor memory! They always say that i seem to be healthy but come on I don't know any healthy people that can't function normally daily! I am not depressed ether! It be nice though to have a doctor figure this out!

P.S Please no rude comments and any helpful suggestion are welcome! Thanks much!

  1. Have you had your thyroid checked?.. Ever heard of Fibromyalgia? I have a friend who has it and the muscle and joint pain plus fatigue are syptoms of that, im not sure about the other symptoms you're having though.. hmm.

  2. As Ktine suggested it sounds like Fibromyalgia.

A Rheumatologist or Immunologist would diagnose this condition.

One Immunologist - William Joel Meggs has written a book called "The Inflammation Cure" and this book has a chapter in it that outlines foods to avoid inflammation which is giving you the joint pain etc.  It also tells you which foods to eat for good health and prevent cancers, autoimmune conditions, heart problems and rheumatological disorders.  Chapter 9 has the diet plan and you can read it in Google books on the Internet.

Also eating very little or skipping meals slows down the metabolism and will make you put on weight.

Addit: Joint popping means you have allot of nitrogen in your system - you are full of f**t - eating right will stop the popping.

  3. A lot of the symptoms could be the type of food you may be eating, especially weight gain, gassy and the flu symptoms. There's a book called "Eat Right For Your Type" and it basically explain the food that is good for your blood type and the food that is bad for your blood type. I know it sounds crazy but I followed it for a week and I felt so much better than I did. A lot of people would say it's a load of rubbish, but what is the harm in trying? :) It might relieve some symptoms, maybe even the skin rashes. I found out that for my blood type wheat was the worst thing I could have, so now I eat spelt bread which tastes the exact same and I feel much better :)

Joint pain could be because you have fatigue, fatigue because you are a night owl! It all snowballs but if you get to the source of the problem the other symptoms should hopefully go away! Try doing something tiring, go to the gym, and then have a really warm/hot bath or shower then get straight to bed, if you have any TV's or iPods switch them all off!

I'm not sure about joint popping, sorry :(

  4. Fibromyalgia is the first thing that came to mind.

  5. Have you been tested for Lupus? A lot of your symptoms are the same.

  6. research celiac disease or gluten sensitivity. I think you may have this. Many of your symptoms joint pain and abdominal symptoms and gas, and fatigue fit into this diagnosis. Google celiac disease symptoms.

  7. what i can tell you is,be observable, don't worry much because your temper for your relief can get worse in case so,just continue taking medicines, help your self, have patience and get well soon.
