Has anyone had stereotypical radio surgery for a brain lesion?

  1. Candidacy requirements for such a procedure are very strict, as the size of the lesion cannot exceed a certain size.

    I've seen it work on masses when they were detected very early. For small lesions, I think the stereotactic (not stereotypical) radiosurgery is a great alternative to an open procedure because there isn't any "collateral damage" and there is really no recovery time involved.


  2. never heard of it, but HAVE heard of the "gamma knife" surgery at Duke University Medical Center in North Carolina. Maybe an option... many blessings to you.
