Has anyone had their nose pierced while they were pregnant?

it stresses u more than u might think and that is bad for the baby.  do it if u want but it's ur stress level and it's worse than u may think

most shops will not do work on pregnant women. being pregnant weakens your immune system which would make it take longer to heal something like a piercing or a tattoo. this would make it more susceptible to infection. not to mention the possibility that you could get other things as already mentioned, its just better to wait until you aren't pregnant. its so unnecessary to consider risking any kind of infection during pregnancy would be silly.

Not a good idea! I personally have 9 peircings and 10 tattoos all done before I got pregnant! Getting a peircing or tattoo while pregnant can put your baby in immediate shock and kill it! If an artist knows you are pregnant it is against the law to work on you! Please don't risk it bc if baby doesn't die from the shock it could easily die from infection! You are at a much higher risk of getting an infection while pregnant and puting foriegn objects in your body is the last thing you want to do!

It isn't a good idea to alter the body in any way (including weight loss) while pregnant. It takes the body just the right environment to make a healthy baby. One concern with a piercing would be possible infection. Infection can get into the blood stream and affect the placenta, causing harm or death to the fetus. I would try to wait until after the birth to get the piercing. It isn't worth the risk at this point. Good luck!

you cannot get any piercings or tattoos during pregnancy any legal shop wouldnt do it anyways, there are too many risks associated with getting a piercing or a tattoo, infections, trauma, shock, passing out, I think it should wait until after the baby is born

I know that piercings aren't recommended while you're pregnant because of the risk of infection.   Why can't you wait 9 months?  You aren't going to die without a stud in your nose.

Your not suppose to get pierced or tattood while pregnant.  Because of risk of infection or hepatitis.  But people do it.  Just if you get an infection or anything, it could be very harmful to your baby.  Best to wait til after you give birth.  If you can't wait a few months, then go ahead and take the risk.  But your baby could pay.
