Question:

Has anyone had there ultrasound recorded on a cd r ?

i have an ultrasound tomorrow and they told me they would record around two minutes on a cd-r when i was pregnant with my son there was no cd or anything i didnt think you could put video on a cd-r so has anyone else had one and how does that work?and did they also give you pictures just in case the cd doesn't work

  1. They gave us both for our son (was a 2D) and our daughter (a 3D with colours and enhanced contrast). The first is just a nice and confused memory but the second is really amazing. Check with them the format they'll save the file (if .mov, .mpg, .avi or other ) to choose the best reader on your pc and may be to save on a DVD for TV view.

    A copy could also be a nice gift for grandparents  


  2. My nephews was on a cd. Its just a standard video file so, when you put the disk in your computer you can access the file. There were also still pic files on the disk. You can't put it in a dvd player, the video and pics have to be accessed on a computer.  

  3. I work in the ER and the answer is YES.  They could either give you pictures or a CD with the video.

  4. Yup, I went to a place where they had music on a DVD along with the ultrasound.  They did also give me pictures (it was part of the package).
