  1. If I were you, I would take a test just to ease my mind. If you still haven't gotten your period in another week then take another one. You may have miscalculated ovulation, so your period will come later than you thought it would.

  2. All my pregnancy symptoms were the same as my usual pms symptoms.  The only reason I took the test was because I usually get pms symptoms for about 5 days to a week and 2 weeks later they were still there and no period yet (which usually didn't worry me as my periods were very very irregular).  I would wait until the latest you've been late or just get a dollar test.  you won't be out anything if you've tested too early.  Good luck and hopefully it's not just pms symptoms!!!

  3. You could be PG, save money and wait as you will find out in a week or so! Goodluck!

  4. You are right - that can be PMS!

I recommend going ahead and taking a pregnancy test. That way, you will not continue to get your hopes up AND you can go ahead and get in to see your OBGYN - that way you can start your vitamins and pregnancy lifestyle.

If you have a Dollar Tree in your area, they have HPT's for $1 each, so it's not even expensive to go ahead and see. There's no sense in building up suspense if you don't have to!

If you are not going to test, then at least go ahead and make sure that you are taking a multi-vitamin with adequate levels of folic acid. Spina bifida (and other possible birth defects) are associated with inadequate maternal vitamin levels in the first month or two of pregnancy. No sense in risking that, right?

    Good luck!

  5. It really sounds like you're pregnant. Why are you torturing yourself :) Go and buy the test, it would give you a clear result either way at this point, or go get a blood test, cause you'll end up doing this anyways if the test says +

    Good Luck!!!
