Has anyone had trouble with limewire slowing down their system?

It depends on what you downloaded from it. theres always a chance you downloaded a song and it had spy ware or a virus on it.

But all i can say is to perform a Virus-Scan on ur computer and next time you download something pay attention to the files size a song is about 3kmb-6kmb....

dont' use limewire

although it works well at first

in the end it slows your computer down

un-install the system and just ask a friend to send songs to you

if someone else has limewire ask them to send the songs

dont' use the software on your own

I have had trouble with limewire slowing my computer down.

I find it eats up the memory like anything.

I have 1Gb of RAM installed and when running the basics like antivirus, firewall, and other little bits I have 890mb left but when I run limewire it drops my memory down to 200mb or less.
