  1. I lost my mucus plug about 2 weeks before I had my son.. I was going to bathroom and all of a sudden this yucky discharge that was very thick came out.. I thought I was going in to labor but no it was a good thing that protects your baby from any harmful bacteria.. so when that happens to you dont' be scared.. and also it might not be a big deal.. It is different for everyone..

  2. That is just normal ovulation mucus not a plug. It happens to all women every time they ovulate. Sometimes you don't see it there, but it happens everytime. It helps the sperm to travel better to the egg.

  3. the only plug ive heard of if the mucus plug you get when you become pregnant to prevent any bacteria from entering your cervix

  4. I know I didn't lose anything when I found out I was pregnant. You have increase in discharge for sure but nothing ever as big as a "plug."
