Has anyone heard anything about the 2009 CBR 1000RR?

Heard anything about it? Does anyone know when it will hit the dealerships? Potential color schemes? Is it really an improvement over the 2006-07 models? Honda Powersports doesn't have anything on it. Looking for insider news.

It will be very much the same bike that you can get this year since the 08 was a completely new bike.  The 08 is a complete beast bettering the power output of the 07 model by as much as 10%.  Do not expect the 09 to be really any better but if there were any bugs in the bike they will be worked out but I have not heard of any problems with the 08 bikes.  Honda does a good job of getting it right the first time unlike some of the other manufactures, stateside bikes with rear cylinder overheating problems come to mind.  Who knows about new colors, I guess we will just have to wait and see.

I don't think there will be much of an upgrade(as the 08 is a new model)just a few tweaks here and there,and maybe some sort of anti-spin program,similar to Kawasaki's ZX-10R.
